This unit supersedes CL3Z-10346-B. The 200-amp rating supports the heavy electrical loads of modern F-150s including the integrated power converter for the AC power outlet feature. When the alternator fails the symptoms include a battery warning lamp, low system voltage with accessories running, or outright no-charge once the regulator fails. The Ford-supplied unit carries the correct mounting flange, pulley, and electrical connector to bolt into the original mount without modification. A core charge applies on the failed unit when the repair is processed through a Ford dealer.
