  This genuine Ford piston ring kit supplies the complete compression and oil-control ring package for one piston in the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 found in the 2017 through 2021 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator in standard-output form. The rings seal combustion pressure above the piston, control the oil film on the cylinder wall, and transfer heat from the piston to the bore, so worn or broken rings directly cause the symptoms owners are chasing: blue oil-burning smoke from the tailpipe, high oil consumption between changes, fouled spark plugs, reduced compression and power, and blow-by that pressurizes the crankcase. Ford supplies these rings sized for the standard bore, and this kit fits the standard 3.5L EcoBoost without the high-output engine used in the Raptor. During an engine rebuild or reseal one kit is installed per cylinder bore, and the rings must be gapped and oriented to Ford specification with the correct end-gap clearance for a proper seal. As an OEM ring kit it matches the factory ring width, tension, and coating so it beds correctly against a properly honed cylinder wall. Verify the engine is the standard-output 3.5L EcoBoost before ordering and always install new rings against a freshly honed or measured bore.
