Genuine Ford HVAC heater water hose for 17-20 Ford F-150 trucks, configured as the inlet hose to the heater core or auxiliary water pump in the heater circuit. The hose carries hot coolant from the engine outlet toward the heater core and is paired with the matching outlet hose to complete the heater plumbing. When the hose fails the symptoms include coolant loss, reduced cabin heat output, and in severe cases overheating under load if the failure is rapid and the system loses significant coolant. The Ford-supplied unit is built from the correct material for the underhood heat exposure and is dimensioned for the factory routing through the engine bay clips. Replacement requires draining the cooling system to below the heater hose level, disconnecting both ends, and routing the new hose along the factory path. Bleed the cooling system thoroughly after refilling to prevent air pockets that can produce intermittent cabin heat or premature coolant pump cavitation.
