This axle fits 17-20 Ford F-150 Raptor trucks. The Raptor uses heavier-duty half-shafts than the standard F-150 4WD platform to handle the desert running torque loads of the high-output 3.5L EcoBoost. Replacement is appropriate when the inner or outer CV boot tears and contaminates the joint, when CV joint clicking or vibration develops under power, or when the axle bends or splines strip after impact damage.
