  This Genuine Ford tailgate name plate is the blacked-out RAPTOR rear emblem fitted to 2017-2020 F-150 Raptor tailgates. Ford catalogs it as a Name Plate, mounted at the rear center of the tailgate, and it provides the factory high-gloss black lettering and mounting geometry unique to the Raptor. The emblem is applied with a factory pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that keys the badge to the tailgate stamping in the correct location. Owners replace it when the original letters fade, peel, or are damaged in a car wash or minor tailgate contact, or when converting a plain tailgate to the Raptor appearance.
