  This is a genuine Ford rear driver-side door latch with integrated lock actuator for the 17-20 F-150 Crew Cab and the corresponding F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty Crew Cab equipped with power door locks. It is the driver-side rear counterpart to the passenger-side rear latch and shares the same general construction with mirrored linkage geometry. The assembly combines the mechanical latch with the lock and unlock actuator motor and integrates with the truck's body control module for power lock function, including coordination with the child safety lock feature if the truck is so equipped. Failure modes follow the same pattern as the other latches in this family: motor failure, mechanical latch failure, connector corrosion, and internal linkage breakage. Each door on a Crew Cab truck has its own latch part number because the four doors do not interchange, and ordering the correct latch for the position is essential to ensure proper fit and operation.
