This genuine Ford Motorcraft fuel pump and sender assembly is the complete in-tank fuel delivery module for 2017-2020 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups equipped with the 6.2L gas engine and the 34-gallon fuel tank. It combines the electric fuel pump, the fuel level sending unit, and the internal pressure regulator in one assembly that supplies the engine with fuel at the correct pressure and reports tank level to the gauge. The gas-engine fuel pressure regulator is an internal, non-serviceable component, so the complete module is replaced when the pump fails. Common failure symptoms include extended cranking, hard starting or no-start, stalling and power loss under load or towing, hesitation and sputtering during acceleration, a whining noise from the tank, and an erratic or stuck fuel gauge. Installing this Motorcraft module restores proper fuel volume and pressure and accurate level sensing. The assembly includes the sending unit and is built specifically for this tank size and configuration. Confirm tank size and wheelbase before ordering, relieve fuel pressure, and renew the lock ring and seal as needed.
