Genuine Ford fuel vapor separator tube assembly for 17-20 Ford Fusion models with the 1.5L EcoBoost turbocharged three- and four-cylinder engine package, in service from a mid-13 production cutover for the platform. This is the evaporative emissions hose assembly that connects the canister to the engine intake side and carries fuel vapor as part of the EVAP purge cycle. The unit supersedes HG9Z-9D289-A and HG9Z-9D289-C, consolidating the production-level revisions into one current Ford service part. When the hose fails the symptoms include a check engine light for evaporative system leak detection, occasional faint fuel odor at the engine bay, and in severe cases a no-restart-after-fueling symptom as the canister cannot vent properly. The Ford-supplied hose is dimensioned and routed for the 1.5L EcoBoost-specific engine bay layout, which differs from the 2.0L EcoBoost variant.
