This is one of the variants in the HC3Z-9H307 family used by the 6.2L gasoline application across the Super Duty wheelbase and tank options. The pump assembly includes the level sender, internal strainer, and pressure regulator integrated into the bucket so the unit drops into the original mounting flange without separate sub-component changes. When the original pump ages out, common symptoms are extended cranking on hot restarts, fuel pressure that drops below specification under heavy load, and audible whine from the tank during idle.
