• Description:

  This is the Genuine Ford right-side exhaust manifold for 17-21 F-150 and Expedition equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, in the configuration without the Raptor and without the Limited package. It is a cast iron manifold sized to the engineered runner volume and turbo mounting pattern on this side of the engine, with integrated heat shield mounts and a sealing flange machined to the head and the turbocharger flange. The manifold replaces the original after thermal cracking, a snapped exhaust stud, or following a manifold-to-turbo gasket failure that has compromised sealing. Cast iron manifolds on the 3.5L EcoBoost are wear items because they see a wide thermal swing and direct contact with hot exhaust pulses. A cracked manifold leaks at idle and during cold drive-aways and lowers turbo response. Install with new manifold-to-head and manifold-to-turbo gaskets, fresh studs and nuts where specified, the published Ford torque sequence and value, and a careful inspection of the turbo inlet for any heat damage. Replace heat shields together if any are warped, and verify there is no exhaust leak after a complete warm cycle.
