  Genuine Ford OEM transmission oil pan bracket heat shield part number HL3Z-7F013-A, the driver-side left-hand external heat shield mounted to the 10R80 transmission oil pan area. This shield fits 17-21 Ford F-150, 18-21 Expedition, and 18-21 Lincoln Navigator vehicles equipped with the 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission. The part supersedes earlier service number HL3P-7B024-CA. The heat shield protects the transmission oil pan and lower transmission case from exhaust heat radiating from the catalytic converters and exhaust manifolds during high-load operation. The shield is fabricated from formed sheet metal with appropriate clearance for service access to the transmission pan drain plug and fluid level check point. Replacement is appropriate when the original shield is damaged from impact, when the mounting brackets are torn from rust or corrosion, or as part of an exhaust or transmission service that requires shield removal. Installation requires removing the lower exhaust shields and following the factory bracket bolt torque specifications.
