  Genuine Ford OEM rear brake pads for the 2017 through 2021 F-150, Expedition, and Navigator equipped with the electric parking brake, on builds excluding Police Responder and SSV. The pads provide the friction couple at the rear disc rotor and are formulated for the integrated electric parking brake actuator caliper used on these platforms. This suffix supersedes JL3Z-2200-A, KL3Z-2200-A, and KL3Z-2200-B. Trucks with the manual cable parking brake use a different pad set because the caliper bracket and the pad backing plate geometry differ; installing this EPB pad on a manual-brake caliper will not align to the available shim and noise-damping provision. Confirm electric parking brake presence by inspecting the dash for the EPB button before ordering. non-OEM pads in this fitment commonly use a friction compound that disagrees with the EPB actuator's holding torque calibration and causes either insufficient holding or actuator torque faults. Sold as a complete axle set. The matching front pads, rear rotors, and EPB actuator motors ship separately. The EPB must be retracted to service position before pad replacement and reset on completion with a capable scan tool.
