This genuine Motorcraft A/C condenser, part number YJ-742, is the factory air conditioning condenser for the 2017 through 2022 Ford F-150 and related Expedition and Navigator full-size applications. It mounts at the front of the vehicle ahead of the radiator and rejects heat from the high-pressure refrigerant leaving the compressor, condensing it from a hot gas into a liquid so the system can deliver cold air to the cabin. This unit incorporates an integral A/C receiver drier, which stores refrigerant and removes moisture to protect the system from internal corrosion and icing. Built to original Ford specifications, it matches the factory core size, port locations, drier housing, and mounting points for a direct fit.
