  This is the genuine Ford rear anti lock brake wheel speed sensor for the left, driver side rear corner of the Super Duty, supplied complete with its wire harness and connector. Ford catalogs it as an ABS Wheel Speed Sensor, also shown as a Rear Speed Sensor, and this suffix is the left rear unit for F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups built without dual rear wheels, in four wheel drive configuration, across the 6.2L and 6.8L gas engines and the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. It replaces the earlier HC3Z-2C190-H and the Motorcraft service number BRAB449. The sensor is a magnetic pickup that reads the toothed tone ring at the rear wheel and reports rotational speed to the ABS module, which uses that signal for anti lock braking, traction control, electronic stability control, trailer sway control and, on many trucks, the speedometer and transmission shift strategy.
