Genuine Ford fuel and water separator filter element for Super Duty applications with the 6.7L Power Stroke turbo diesel fuel system. This is the OEM replacement filter media for the chassis-mounted water separator and is one of the scheduled maintenance items on a 6.7L Power Stroke. The element is dimensioned to the correct micron rating, treated for biodiesel compatibility, and supplied to dealers as the OEM service part for the application. Skipping or extending the fuel filter interval on a 6.7L is one of the most common preventable causes of premature CP4 fuel pump failure since the filter is the only barrier protecting the high-pressure pump's precision surfaces from particulate and water contamination present in the tank. The Ford-supplied element is what dealer service uses on every diesel maintenance visit. Sold as a single element; replace at the manufacturer-specified interval or sooner under severe-duty cycles such as heavy towing or significant idle time.
