• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford outer tie rod end for the passenger right side steering linkage on 2017 through 2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty four wheel drive trucks with the solid monobeam front axle and covering F-450 and F-550 applications in the same steering family. The tie rod end links the steering linkage to the wheel knuckle and converts steering box motion into wheel movement while its internal ball stud accommodates suspension travel and steering angle. A worn tie rod end causes loose or wandering steering clunking noises over bumps uneven or feathered tire wear and an inability to hold alignment and if it fails completely it can cause loss of steering control. This right side unit threads into the adjusting sleeve and its tapered stud seats into the knuckle secured by a castle nut and cotter pin. Install a new cotter pin torque the castle nut to Ford specification and perform a toe alignment after service. Confirm your truck uses the monobeam four wheel drive front axle before ordering. This is a new genuine Ford part.
