This genuine Ford inner wheel bearing cup (Ford catalog name Cup - Bearing) is the hardened outer race that presses into the front wheel hub of 2017-2022 Ford F-350 F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks with the Dana M275 front axle and serves as the polished running surface for the inner tapered roller bearing cone. Precisely matched to its mating cone it carries the vertical and cornering loads of the front hub and keeps the wheel running true and quiet. A worn pitted or spun cup produces a cyclic front-end growl or rumble that changes with vehicle speed wheel-bearing looseness or play uneven tire wear and in severe cases hub overheating. The cup and cone are a matched pair and should always be replaced together and repacked with the correct wheel bearing grease never mixing an old cone with a new cup. This is a direct OEM replacement machined to Ford Motor Company tolerances for a correct press fit into the hub bore. Inspect the hub bore and mating cone and replace the hub grease seal whenever the bearings are serviced. Confirm your axle and hub configuration before ordering because Super Duty front hubs use axle-specific bearing races.
