• Description:

  Genuine Ford turbocharger oil outlet tube O-ring for 17-23 Ford F-150 and 17-23 Expedition trucks, also fitting Lincoln Navigator, with the 3.5L EcoBoost turbocharged V6 engine. The O-ring seals the turbo oil drain or outlet tube against the turbo housing and is one of the small but critical parts whose failure produces a slow but persistent oil leak at the turbo location. Whenever the turbo is removed or the oil drain tube is disturbed the O-ring should be replaced because the original has compressed against the sealing surface and will not reliably seal a second time. The Ford-supplied O-ring carries the correct material composition for the high-heat environment at the turbo and the proper cross-section to seat in the original groove. Sold individually. Use a thin film of engine assembly lubricant on the new O-ring during installation to prevent the seal from rolling or tearing as the tube is reinstalled.
