• Description:

  This Genuine Ford lower fan shroud fits 17-24 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. It supersedes the earlier HC3Z-C suffix. The lower fan shroud is the molded plastic shroud that directs airflow from the radiator and charge air cooler stack through the fan blades, maintaining the suction zone that keeps engine and intercooler cooling effective at idle and low road speed. A cracked, missing, or non-OEM shroud allows recirculation of hot air around the fan and degrades cooling under load, particularly during heavy towing in hot weather. The shroud also acts as a debris shield protecting the fan from road debris and a noise control surface for engine bay acoustics. non-OEM shrouds often miss mounting tabs, use thinner plastic, or interfere with adjacent components. This Genuine Ford shroud is molded to factory specification with all mounting tabs in the correct location. Replace any clips, push pins, or fasteners that show damage during removal.
