• Description:

  This is a Genuine Ford thermostat housing O-ring carrying Ford part number HL3Z-8507-D. The O-ring serves the left hand or upper sealing position on the thermostat housing of the 3.5L EcoBoost engine in the 17-25 F-150, covering both the 14th generation 17-20 trucks and the 15th generation 21-23 trucks, along with the closely related Expedition and Lincoln Navigator applications using the same engine. The O-ring is constructed of an OEM specification elastomer compound rated for long life Ford coolant and the elevated temperatures seen in EcoBoost cooling systems. Substituting a generic O-ring at this location can result in coolant weeps that appear shortly after installation, because non-OEM rings often differ in cross section diameter and hardness. The part ships in original Ford OEM packaging. Installation should occur whenever the thermostat housing is opened for service.
