• Description:

  This genuine Ford multi-layer steel cylinder head gasket seals the right-hand, passenger-side cylinder head to the engine block on the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6, holding combustion pressure, engine coolant, and pressurized oil passages at the head-to-block joint. It fits the 3.5L DOHC turbocharged V6 used across the F-150, Expedition, and Navigator, and shares the platform with Explorer applications through the 2017 to 2025 range. A failing head gasket on a boosted engine shows up as coolant loss with no visible leak, white exhaust smoke, coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant, overheating, bubbling in the reservoir, or a rough start after sitting, and this is the part a buyer replaces to restore a proper combustion seal. The gasket is bank-specific, so the passenger side carries its own suffix distinct from the driver side. The cylinder head bolts used with this gasket are torque-to-yield fasteners designed for a single use; they must never be reused. Install new torque-to-yield head bolts and follow Ford's staged torque-and-angle sequence, and always confirm the deck and head surfaces are clean, flat, and within specification before assembly.
