• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford rear wheel hub assembly PC3Z-1109-B for F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks with the 11.8 and 12.4 inch axle configurations, supplied with the inner and outer bearing cups. The hub supports the rear wheel-end, carries the heavy load of these chassis, and allows the wheel to rotate while mounting the rotor or drum and wheel. It is built to Ford specification with the correct bearing seats and hub dimensions for these large axles. Owners replace the hub when the bearing seats are worn or damaged, the hub is cracked, or wheel-end service requires it. Using the genuine hub ensures the correct fit and bearing seating for the F-450 and F-550 axle. Installation presses or fits the bearings to the cups, assembles the hub to the axle with fresh seals, sets preload per the procedure, and torques the retention to specification; the wheel should turn freely and quietly afterward and disturbed seals renewed.
