  This genuine Ford support strap U-nut secures fuel tank straps and support brackets on 17-25 Super Duty F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks across the range of wheelbase and engine configurations. The U-nut clips onto the bracket to provide a captive threaded point for the strap bolt, holding the fuel tank firmly against the chassis so it does not shift or vibrate. Technicians need this part during fuel tank, strap, or chassis service when the original U-nut is found corroded, spread, or lost, leaving the strap bolt without a secure anchor.
