This genuine Ford left-hand Motorcraft turbocharger fits the 2.7L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 in the 2018-2020 F-150 and includes the integrated exhaust manifold as a single service assembly. The turbocharger recovers energy from exhaust gas to drive a compressor that pressurizes intake air, producing the strong low-end torque and efficiency for which the 2.7L EcoBoost is known. Because the turbine housing is integrated with the exhaust manifold on this design, the unit replaces both components together on the driver side of the engine. Symptoms of a worn or failed turbo include loss of boost and acceleration, whistling, whining, or rattling noises, blue smoke from oil-seal leakage, oil pooling in the charge-air piping, and boost or underboost diagnostic codes. Install with new gaskets and fasteners, confirm the oil supply and return lines are clear, pre-lubricate the center bearing, and inspect the intercooler plumbing for debris before the first start. Manufactured to Ford's original fit, boost calibration, and durability standards for the 2.7L EcoBoost application.
