  This is the Genuine Ford upper oxygen sensor for 18-20 F-150 equipped with the 5.0L Coyote V8 or the 3.3L V6 engine, in the front passenger-side position. It is the upstream pre-catalyst HEGO sensor that the PCM uses for primary fuel control on the right bank or front bank of the engine. The sensor is calibrated to the specific exhaust pulse, harness length, and connector that this generation truck uses, and the OEM construction provides the response time and signal integrity required for closed-loop fuel control. A failing upstream oxygen sensor shows up as slow response, fuel trim drift, P-codes in the O2 family, and in extended cases as elevated emissions and reduced fuel economy. This is the correct OEM service sensor for the upper right position on these engines. Install with the engine cool, anti-seize on the threads where Ford specifies, the published torque value applied with the correct torque tool, and the connector seated fully into the body harness.
