• Description:

  This is the Genuine Ford positive crankcase ventilation hose for the 5.0L Coyote V8 in 18-20 F-150. It carries metered crankcase vapor from the valve cover fitting to the intake side so that blow-by gases are recirculated and combusted rather than vented to atmosphere. The hose is molded from a fluoro-elastomer compound and routed with specific bends and a quick-connect fitting that match the engine bay packaging on this generation of truck. A correct PCV hose maintains the design pressure differential at the crankcase, which protects gaskets, oil seals, and the front and rear main from being pushed by excess pressure. A failed or cracked hose can pull a vacuum leak, trigger an evaporative or running-rich fault, and contribute to oil consumption complaints because the oil separator and PCV valve no longer see the calibrated flow. This part replaces the original hose without modification and uses the factory clip retention to lock into the cover fitting and intake. Service typically takes well under an hour with the engine cool.
