• Description:

  This is the Genuine Ford intake manifold for 18-20 F-150. It is the molded composite manifold that bolts to the cylinder heads and provides the intake runner geometry, throttle body mount, sensor bosses, and sealing surfaces required for cylinder air supply. Construction uses a glass-filled composite shell with metal inserts at each fastener boss so that bolt torque is taken by metal rather than by plastic threads. The manifold is sized to the original gasket pattern and includes any captive sensor or vapor ports required for the EVAP and crankcase ventilation systems on this engine. A cracked or warped intake is a documented source of unmetered air leaks and rough idle complaints, and once a casting is compromised it is replaced rather than repaired. Install with new intake gaskets, follow the Ford-published bolt sequence and torque values, and inspect each connector and vapor line before reattaching. Clear stored fuel trim adaptation so the engine relearns against a properly sealed intake. Verify smooth idle and absence of vacuum leak indications before returning the truck to service.
