• Description:

  This is the Genuine Ford air baffle for 18-20 F-150, a companion air management panel that works with the front and lower baffles to direct cooling pack airflow through the radiator and condenser. It is molded from reinforced plastic shaped to the surrounding sheet metal, with clip features and tab anchors matched to the original locating pattern. The function of these baffles is to seal off the path of least resistance around the heat exchangers so that incoming air at the grille and lower fascia is forced through the cores rather than allowed to spill into the wheel wells or back into the engine bay. A missing or broken baffle reduces this pressure differential and shows up as higher coolant temperatures during sustained tow, hill climb, or idle in heat. This part is the direct OEM service replacement, installing without modification using the original retention. Inspect the surrounding baffles, brackets, and any tow hook structure for related damage before reinstalling, and verify that all clips and tabs are seated so the baffle holds its position under highway speed airflow.
