  This is a genuine Ford passenger-side front fog lamp assembly for the 18-20 F-150 equipped with halogen fog lights and the integrated bezel without the LED option. The fog lamp installs into the front bumper at the lower outboard fog lamp opening and uses the integrated bezel to provide the finished appearance around the lamp lens. Halogen fog lamps provide a wide low-elevation beam pattern designed to illuminate the road surface in fog, rain, or snow conditions where conventional high beams reflect off precipitation and reduce forward visibility. Failure modes include cracked or shattered lenses from rock impacts, water intrusion through compromised housing seals that fogs the lens and corrodes the bulb socket, broken or corroded bulb sockets, and physical damage to the bezel from low-speed contact. A genuine fog lamp carries the correct beam pattern calibration, lens specification, and connector pinout for the truck's lighting system. After replacement, the fog lamp should be aimed using the manufacturer's procedure, which typically uses a wall-mounted target at a specified distance to verify that the beam strikes the appropriate height and lateral position.
