  This is a genuine Ford bumper face bar mount plate for the passenger side of the 18-20 F-150. The plate is a stamped or formed steel structural piece that provides the primary mounting interface between the bumper face bar and the chassis frame. It transfers impact loads from the bumper to the frame structure and maintains the bumper's position against gravity, vibration, and normal driving forces. The plate is bolted to the frame on one face and to the face bar on the other, with corrosion protection coating applied to the surface. Failure modes include collision deformation that compromises the plate geometry, corrosion in salt-belt environments that weakens the structure, broken or distorted mounting holes from impact, and coating damage that exposes the plate to accelerated corrosion.
