  This is a genuine Ford windshield washer fluid pump for the F-150, covering multiple recent model years on this platform. The pump is a small electrically driven impeller assembly mounted to the side or bottom of the washer fluid reservoir, drawing fluid from the tank through a filter screen and pushing it through the supply line to the windshield washer nozzles. Failure modes include impeller seizure from contamination, motor brush failure from chronic use, internal seal leakage that allows fluid to weep down the side of the reservoir, and electrical connector corrosion that produces intermittent operation. Symptoms include audible pump operation without fluid output, weak fluid stream from the nozzles, no pump operation at all when the washer switch is activated, or visible fluid leakage around the pump grommet.
