  This is a genuine Ford windshield washer fluid reservoir for the 18-20 F-150. The reservoir is the plastic tank that holds the washer fluid supply for the front and, where equipped, the rear washer system, and it integrates the washer pump mounting points, fluid level sensor location, and filler neck routing to the engine bay opening. Failure modes include cracked tank from low-speed impact damage or freezing of overfilled fluid, leaks at the pump grommets that allow fluid to seep down the inner fender area, missing or broken filler caps that admit debris and ambient moisture into the tank, and obstructed pickup tubes that prevent fluid from reaching the pump. Symptoms include low washer fluid warnings that recur even after filling, no fluid output from the washer nozzles even when the pump runs audibly, and visible fluid leakage in the inner fender area. The genuine reservoir carries the correct mounting bracket positions, pump grommet sizes, and fluid sensor pocket for the F-150 application. Substituting a generic tank can produce fit problems with the chassis brackets and integration problems with the pump or sensor.
