• Description:

  This passenger-side air baffle is the radiator support baffle for 18-20 Mustang 5.0L applications. The baffle directs incoming airflow through the radiator and cooling stack, preventing the air from bypassing the heat-exchange surfaces and being lost to the engine bay. Replacement is needed when the baffle has cracked, when retaining clips have broken and the baffle has come loose, or when a previous repair removed the baffle but did not reinstall it. The baffle is molded plastic and ships in factory finish. Installation uses the factory clip locations on the radiator support; verify all retainers are engaged before considering the job complete. A missing or improperly fitted baffle reduces the cooling system's effectiveness, especially under sustained load — uphill towing, track use, or stop-and-go traffic on hot days are when the difference becomes apparent. Pair with the driver-side baffle JR3Z-8311-A when both sides have aged or been removed during prior service.
