  This is a genuine Ford OEM bumper cover bracket for the driver side of 18-21 Expedition trucks. The bracket reinforces the bumper cover to body interface and locates the cover against the bumper reinforcement and fender at the leading corner of the truck. Correct bracket geometry is critical for cover fitment, and a bent or missing bracket typically appears as a corner of the bumper standing out from the fender or a visibly wide upper gap. Installing this OEM bracket returns the cover mounting reference to factory specification and supports correct gap and flush adjustment without forcing. The part is stamped and coated to original Ford specification and fits the U553 platform Expedition without modification when the original bumper configuration applies. It is the LH variant and is not interchangeable with the RH JL1Z-17C947-D bracket, which has mirrored hole and tab geometry.
