This is a genuine Ford composite headlight assembly for 18-21 Ford Expedition vehicles. The unit combines low beam, high beam, daytime running light, and turn signal functions in a single sealed housing with a polycarbonate lens. Common failure modes include lens hazing or yellowing from UV exposure, internal moisture and condensation through a compromised seal, bulb socket corrosion, LED driver failure on LED-equipped trims, and impact damage from minor front collisions. Symptoms include reduced light output, foggy or yellowed lens appearance, water visible inside the lens, intermittent operation of one or more functions, and shattered or cracked housing. Replacement requires removing the front bumper cover or the inner fender liner on some trims to access the headlight mounting bolts, then disconnecting the multi-pin harness connector.
