  This is a genuine Ford OEM grille insert for the passenger side of 18-21 Expedition trucks, finished in bright chrome. The insert is one of several decorative inserts that snap into the grille shell to produce the distinctive bright trim layout used on Limited, Platinum, and similar trim levels. Because the chrome plating on non-OEM grille inserts often yellows or peels within months of installation, using the OEM part is the best way to maintain the original showroom appearance over the life of the truck. The insert is molded and plated to original Ford specification and uses the factory snap-fit retention, so it installs without adhesive or modification. After a stone strike or parking lot scuff to the lower grille area, replacing the insert is typically less expensive than refinishing it and produces a more consistent visual result. The part is the RH variant only and is not interchangeable with the driver side or with inserts in other grille positions.
