This genuine Ford OEM headlight bracket is the driver side mounting bracket for 18-21 Expedition trucks equipped with halogen headlamps. It pairs with the matching RH JL1Z-17C972-B bracket to support the headlight assembly at its outer mounting boss and locate the lamp against the front fender and bumper cover. Because the bracket carries the headlight aim reference for the outboard side of the lamp, correct geometry is essential for the beam pattern to fall within specification after collision repair or lamp replacement. Installing this OEM bracket restores the original mounting datum and supports correct gap, flush, and aim adjustment. The part is stamped and coated to original Ford specification and is supplied with the headlamp assembly in some service kits, but it is also sold separately for cases where only the bracket is damaged. It is the LH variant only and is not interchangeable with the RH bracket. This genuine part is backed by the Ford and Motorcraft Parts Limited Warranty.
