• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford OEM tow bracket cover cap for 18-21 Expedition trucks, replacing the original KL1Z-17F000-AAPTM as the current service part. The cap conceals the front tow eye threaded insert in the bumper cover and is supplied in paint-to-match raw finish for color blending with the host vehicle. When the front tow eye is not in use, the cap snaps into the bumper aperture and presents a finished surface in place of the open threaded hole. Because the cap is supplied unprimed and unpainted, it must be primed and color matched before installation. Installing this OEM cap returns the front bumper cover to factory appearance and prevents debris from entering the tow eye threads, which can otherwise corrode and require chasing before the tow eye reinstalls. The part is molded to original Ford specification and accepts standard automotive primer and base coat without surface preparation issues.
