  This is a genuine Ford OEM HVAC heater water inlet hose for 18-21 Expedition and 18-22 Lincoln Navigator trucks with the 3.5L V6 engine. The hose carries hot coolant from the engine cooling circuit to the primary HVAC heater core and is the inlet side of the heater core supply pair. Because the hose routes between the engine and the firewall pass-through within a tight underhood envelope, it is molded to a specific shape and length to clear surrounding components without strain or chafing. non-OEM heater hoses cut from generic stock often fail to follow the original routing and can rub against accessory drive components, leading to early failure.
