It is a formed metal and rubber assembly that delivers transmission fluid between the transmission case and the front cooler stack, replacing the original line as a direct fit at all factory mounts and quick-connect fittings. The factory ATF cooler tube on this platform sits in a tight zone between the radiator pack and the chassis, where vibration, heat soak, and road debris work against rubber sections over time. A line that has begun to seep at a crimp or a swaged connector is a leak in a high-pressure circuit and can starve the trans of fluid quickly under tow or hot ambient. Original Ford construction means correct length, correct fitting orientation, and correct hose compound, all of which are needed for the line to seat without preload at the transmission and cooler ends. Replacement requires draining a small amount of ATF, disconnecting the quick-connects, and reinstalling with new clips where applicable. Refill the trans with the specified fluid, run through the gear positions, and recheck level on a level surface at the correct temperature.
