• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Front Lower Control Arm is the driver-side left suspension arm for the 2018-2022 Ford EcoSport, cataloged by Ford as Arm Assembly - Front Suspension. It locates the front wheel, carries suspension loads between the subframe and the steering knuckle, and this assembly includes the lower ball joint pressed into the arm. Owners replace a lower control arm when they hear clunking or knocking over bumps, feel wandering or loose steering, notice uneven or accelerated tire wear, or find torn control arm bushings or a worn ball joint that fails inspection. Installing a complete factory arm with a fresh ball joint and bushings restores correct front-end geometry and quiet, stable handling. The front and lower mounting bolts are single-use torque-to-yield fasteners that stretch when tightened; they must not be reused and must be replaced with new bolts during installation, and a wheel alignment is required afterward to restore proper camber and toe.
