• Description:

  This is the Genuine Ford engine coolant water outlet tube for 18-22 F-150 applications. The water outlet is the cast or molded coolant passage that bolts to the engine and routes coolant out of the head or block toward the radiator hose, heater circuit, and thermostat housing. On this generation truck the outlet integrates the temperature sensor port and the housing for the thermostat where applicable, all sized to the original gasket interface. A leaking outlet tube typically shows up as a slow weep at a gasket joint or as a crack in the body itself, especially after extended high-mile service or thermal cycles, and a failure here drops the cooling system rapidly. The OEM service tube replaces the original at the engineered bolt pattern and sealing surface, and is the safe path back to factory cooling integrity. Install with new gaskets and seals as specified, torque the fasteners in the Ford-published sequence and value, refill with the correct coolant, and bleed the system thoroughly before extended driving.
