This is the genuine Ford engine appearance cover for the 5.0L Coyote V8, the molded top cover that snaps over the intake and valve-cover area to give the engine bay its finished factory look and to help damp intake and mechanical noise. It fits 2018 through 2023 Mustang GT models with the 5.0L V8. The cover mounts on rubber grommets and standoff studs, and buyers usually shop for a replacement because the original has cracked, warped from engine-bay heat, lost its grommets and rattles at idle, or was removed and damaged during other engine service.
