• Description:

  This passenger-side front fender brace is the factory structural reinforcement for 18-23 Mustang. The brace connects the fender to the radiator support and provides the stiffness Ford engineered into the front-end structure to keep the fender stable at speed and consistent in panel gap. Replacement is required when the brace has bent or torn in a collision, when corrosion has weakened the structure, or when a previous repair removed the brace without reinstalling it. The brace is stamped steel and cannot be straightened reliably once bent; attempting to do so leaves residual deformation that prevents proper fender alignment. Installation uses the original mounting points at the fender flange and the radiator support tie bar. Once installed, verify that the fender gap is uniform top to bottom against the door and bumper cover; a properly braced fender holds its alignment consistently across these gaps.
