  This is the Motorcraft upper radiator coolant hose that routes hot engine coolant from the cylinder head and thermostat housing outlet into the top tank of the radiator, allowing the cooling system to shed heat before the coolant returns to the water pump. It is the genuine Ford molded hose for 2018-2023 Mustang applications, covering the 2.3L EcoBoost, 5.0L V8, and 5.2L GT350 and GT350R engine configurations, and is pre-formed with the correct bends, diameter, and reinforcement to clear surrounding components and hold its shape under cooling-system pressure and high underhood heat. Drivers replacing this hose are typically chasing a coolant leak at the upper connection, a low coolant level, steam or the smell of hot coolant under the hood, engine temperature climbing toward the hot zone, or a hose that has gone soft, swollen, cracked, or hard and brittle with age.
