  This genuine Ford front suspension strut is the driver-side, left-hand front damper assembly for the 2018 through 2023 Ford Transit Connect. The strut dampens spring oscillation, absorbs bumps, and helps locate the left front wheel so the tire maintains contact for steering response, braking stability, and ride comfort. Worn valving and leaking seals produce a bouncy ride, front-end clunks over bumps, nose dive when braking, cupped or uneven tire wear, and wander at highway speed, while visible oil streaks on the strut body confirm it has failed. This is a side-specific release for the left front corner, so verify the position before ordering. Ford releases the strut with single-use fasteners: the lower mounting bolt, the upper mount bolt, and the top nut must not be reused or reinstalled and are to be replaced with new hardware and torqued to specification.
