This is the genuine Ford door weatherstrip seal for 2018-2024 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator full-size SUVs, applicable to the extended 131.6-inch Max wheelbase body. The weatherstrip is the flexible rubber seal that runs around the door and body opening and compresses when the door closes, sealing out wind noise, rain, dust and road spray while cushioning the door and helping quiet the cabin. Owners replace it when the rubber hardens, cracks, tears, flattens or pulls away from its retaining flange, which typically shows up as wind roar at highway speed, water leaks or damp carpet, whistling, or a door that no longer seals or closes solidly. Installing a fresh seal restores a tight, quiet weather barrier and proper door fit. This is a direct-fit OEM weatherstrip; clean the mounting flange, press the seal on evenly along its full length without stretching it, and make sure the corners are fully seated so it seals continuously and the door closes with normal effort.
