  This is a genuine Ford OEM power running board motor for the passenger side of 18-24 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator trucks built on the extended 131.6 inch Max wheelbase, superseding the original JL1Z-16A506-D motor. The Max wheelbase board is longer and carries more mass than the standard wheelbase board, so the motor uses a revised torque profile and is not interchangeable with the 122.5 inch variant. Installing this OEM motor restores correct extension and retraction across the longer board and prevents the stall and over-current faults that typically appear when an undersized motor is fitted to a Max-length board. The unit is sealed against weather and road spray to original Ford specification and uses the same connector and harness pinning as the original part, so it installs without harness modification. After a failed motor, the running board will commonly stick partially deployed, refuse to retract, or cycle inconsistently from side to side.
