The camera is the rear-mounted imaging module that supports the rear-view and side-view 360-degree camera system on these vehicles, supplied with the integrated lens, sealed body, and Ford-standard harness connector. It mounts at the engineered rear position and feeds rear-view video to the central display and driver assistance controller. A failed rear camera typically shows as a missing image during reverse, a distorted or color-shifted picture in the surround view, or stored fault codes in the camera module.
