• Description:

  This is a Genuine Ford 5.0L Coyote valve cover gasket sized for the driver-side outer cylinder head, designed as a direct replacement for the original sealing element pressed into the bottom of the cast valve cover on 18-25 F-150 and 18-23 Mustang GT applications. The gasket carries the proper compression set, profile, and bond to its retention groove so that it seats correctly against the deck of the head and maintains a leak-free seal across thermal cycles. Original Ford engineering specifies this part for the LH bank, where exhaust heat and intake plenum proximity stress sealing surfaces. Using an OEM-pattern gasket reduces the risk of oil weeping along the head rail, oil contact with spark plug tubes, and the slow oil staining that develops on the rear of the engine when an non-OEM gasket relaxes early. The gasket is supplied loose, not pre-assembled to a cover, and is intended to be installed any time the valve cover is removed for service such as spark plug replacement, timing chain inspection, or coil-on-plug work. Pair it with a fresh group of valve cover bolts and follow the published sequence and torque so that the gasket loads evenly and does not roll out of its channel. Proper installation restores factory oil containment and protects the surrounding wiring, knock sensors, and exhaust manifolds.
